Merchant Solutions is the proposed place to organize local merchant participation and agreed reward rules. Merchant recognition alone would not establish participation or create a reward; eligibility would depend on the final merchant agreement and program rules.
The proposed journey connects a Smart Card authorization, a captured purchase, and any refund to the resident’s Smart Wallet activity. Reward funding, fees, eligibility, and reversals would require merchant agreements. Proposed payment acceptance and settlement are separate provider-dependent features; a merchant match alone establishes none of those arrangements.
